New Years Retreat

Date and Time Details:

Arrival: Check-in time is 2:00pm. The retreat starts at 6 a.m. on Dec. 21 and your bags can be held at the front desk until your room is ready, or you are welcome to arrive the day before and stay the night at regular accommodation pricing. We encourage you to arrive by 4:00pm for the Asana class. Dinner is at 6:00pm and there will be a Welcoming Orientation at 7:00pm followed by Satsang at 7:30pm.

Departure: Check-out time is 12:00pm on January 1st. You are welcome to stay in the ashram for the rest of the afternoon even after checking out of your room.

Description

Join us for our New Years Retreat where we will celebrate the New Year by celebrating our gurus with a puja, chant om namo narayanaya and make resolves.  During this time we will have special workshops and programs.  We will do some New years resolves workshops on how to make positive intentions for the year to come.

About the Teachers

Swami Jnaneswariananda

Swami Jnaneswariananda joined the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers in 1995 and has been director of centers and ashrams in Canada and Italy. She teaches Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Anatomy, and Vedanta at Teacher Training Courses in North America, Italy and India. Swami Jnaneswariananda took vows of Sannyas in 2001. Swami Vashistananda

Swami Vashistananda comes from the Namboodri lineage in Southern India, Kerala and has been a long-time teacher of bhakti and vedanta in the Sivananda organization ever since. He has been at the Yoga farm since October 2014 and does ceremonies at all the ashram temples and shrines.  Swamiji teaches with much inspiration and humor.
