Description

Celebrate this auspicious festival, the Great Night of Lord Siva, with a series of four pujas. Devotees perform sincere worship of Siva, the Lord of cosmic transformation and dance. Keep vigil all night. Chant kirtan until sunrise.

Be uplifted and obtain countless blessings.  All night vigil, chanting, and celebration of Pure Consciousness in the form of Lord Siva. A once a year opportunity not to be missed. There will be 4 special Puja ceremonies throughout the night. We will conclude by 5am with a feast.

Tuesday, February 13th

  • 2-3pm Arrival

  • 5pm Simple Vegetarian Dinner
  • 6pm 1st Siva Puja Ceremony
  • 9pm 2nd Siva Puja Ceremony
  • 12am 3rd Siva Puja Ceremony
  • 4am 4th Siva Puja Ceremony
  • 6am Refreshments

About the Teachers

Swami Vashistananda

Swami Vashistananda comes from the Namboodri lineage in Southern India, Kerala and has been a long-time teacher of bhakti and vedanta in the Sivananda organization ever since. He has been at the Yoga farm since October 2014 and does ceremonies at all the ashram temples and shrines.  Swamiji teaches with much inspiration and humor.
