This week is ideal for those wanted a full immersion into classical Sivananda Yoga. This course gives you the full yogic experience, progressively introducing yoga asanas, breathing exercises, meditation, mantra chanting and yoga philosophy and it will cover the 4 paths of Yoga. You will be immersed in the daily routine of yoga and will experience wholesome vegetarian meals. You will leave rested and refreshed with the basic knowledge of how to continue to practice at home.

This course gives you an introduction to the real classical practice of hatha yoga as described in the scriptures. Hatha Yoga is seen as a ladder to Raja Yoga which culminates in the practice of Meditation. For most people Meditation is not possible so hatha yoga is prescribed so by controlling the breath we can control the prana which leads to control of the mind and the thoughts.
Meditation and the Mind for One-pointed Concentration
February 13 - 20, 2026
This Yogic Meditation course introduces the basic guidelines and conditions for classical yogic meditation. There will be discussion on Why meditate? and the necessity to go to the transcendental level of existence to find true peace and happiness. Participants will study the mechanics of the mind and how to calm the mind and turn inward for Self-awareness.
