Description

Detoxifying in Spring and Fall is an important part of the Ayurvedic seasonal routine. Disease prevention and wellness are the natural results of regular seasonal cleanses. Join us for a special cleansing diet week using khicharee, which is nutritious and at the same time gives a break to the digestive system.

The ashram is the best place to detox, in a natural and secluded spiritual environment with like-minded people, where students are able to experience the benefits of the supporting therapies offered in the retreat – yoga, pranayama, relaxation, sauna, walks in nature, meditation and most of all, rest and quiet.

The tuition price includes daily workshops and lectures on Ayurveda and health, an Ayurvedic consultation and one Ayurvedic Bliss therapy of 2 hours, which includes Abhyanga (warm oil massage), Sirodhara (steady stream of warm medicated oil to the third eye) and Swedhana (herbal steam treatment). (The consultation plus body therapy is valued to $400). You can book other body treatments as desired for additional fees. We offer sauna every day and encourage guests to practice self massage and sauna on days they are not receiving a treatment from the therapists. Do let us know in advance if you would like additional therapies.
