Healing Your Life: Ayurveda and Yoga Retreat

Arrival & Departure
The program will begin at 11am on Sat. Sep 5th with an opening puja followed by the students gathering for introductions and then class starts.
Students should arrive by 10am for registration or the night before.

Graduation puja will be on Mon. Sep 7th at 4pm and then students can depart.
On Monday Yoga Nidra will be at 8:00am. Students who wish may stay for asana at 4pm.
Students can either spend Monday night at the ashram or depart at 5pm.


What to Bring:

slip on shoes, loose comfortable clothing, writing materials, meditation shawl or blanket, yoga mat, sitting cushion, water bottle, and flashlight. All books and materials are available in our boutique.

Description

This program supports participants on their physical, emotional and spiritual healing journey. Students will explore the causes of suffering and learn practical tools to support their healing journey including Yoga Nidra. Participants can expect to learn the causes of their suffering, their ayurvedic constitution, the nature of the mind, and the nature of any imbalances that exist. You’ll learn how to optimize your digestion and go home with practical tools including diet and lifestyle advice to support greater balance and healing.

Daily Schedule

  • 6:00–7:30am – Satsang (meditation, chanting, lecture)
  • 8:00–9:45am – Asana class
  • 10:00am – Vegetarian brunch
  • 11:00am – Karma Yoga
  • 12:00 – 1:30::  Lecture on Healing Your Life
  • 1:45  –  3:30::  Lecture on Healing Your Life
    4:00 –  5:45:  Yoga Nidra Practice and circle discussion.
  • 6:00pm – Vegetarian dinner
  • 7:30–9:00pm – Satsang (meditation, chanting, lecture)
