Arrival & Departure

Arrival: Check-in time is 2:00pm. We encourage you to arrive by 4:00pm for the Asana class. Dinner is at 6:00pm and there will be a Welcoming Orientation at 7:00pm followed by Satsang at 8:00pm.

Departure: Check-out time is 12:00pm. You are welcome to stay in the ashram for the rest of the afternoon even after checking out of your room.

What to Bring:

slip on shoes, loose comfortable clothing, writing materials, meditation shawl or blanket, yoga mat, sitting cushion, water bottle, and flashlight. All books and materials are available to order from our online boutique. (we will not have yoga mat and cushions available so please bring your own)

An ideal course for those looking to learn more about seasonal, healthy, vegetarian cooking.  You will learn to create simple, delicious, & nutritious meals from organic, seasonal ingredients.

Menu

Day 1 intro to Fall produce, and preparation .  Basic vegetable stock recipe, roasted butternut squash soup , how to thicken and enrich fall soups..
Day 2 intro to fall spices, learning to bloom spices , fall Oatmeal, cranberry jam, fall and winterized salads, amazing versatile dressings for marinade and warm salads.
Day 3 side dishes, from yams to corn puddings, roasted Brussels sprouts, confetti rice, fluffy quinoa, the secret to amazing chard🌱
Day 4 Intro inti sweeteners all sugars are not created equal, Fall Scones with maple glaze, French Toast ,  chocolate chip pancakes, energy balls
Day 5 wrap up questions and answer let’s make a holiday meal 🌱 Vegetarian Turkey,  picking the potato , perfect gravy every time ,  cranberry sauce, and pumpkin “cheeseless” cake ,  simply baked pears .

Pre-requisite

There are no prerequisites other than a sincere desire to learn classical yoga.
