Meditation in Daily Life Retreat
Meditation is a constant observance of the mind. Learn to identify the energies outside of you and within you and how to work with them. Learn to access the inner intuitive voice that will guide you towards positive decisions and actions. Ultimately, this will lead to success in meditation—and life.
Swami Sivananda says, “Meditation is the only royal road to the attainment of salvation or Moksha.” Learn the technique and theory of classical yoga meditation (eight limbs of Raja Yoga). Prepare your body and mind and establish a routine. Enhance your meditation with devotion. Expand the practice to experience meditation in daily life. Face obstacles boldly.
Discover an enriching classical meditation path that is profound, and yet not widely known. Many misunderstand yoga to be simply exercise. Many consider meditation to be daydreaming or an escape. Actually, Yoga is meditation and meditation is yoga. Learn the preliminaries step by step—no matter how busy your mind is. Benefits of regular practice include reduced stress and anxiety, improved overall health, improved sleep, and a clear and calm mind. More deeply, it develops our self-awareness and consciousness. We discover what is Truth and what is illusion. Meditation helps us rediscover who we are.
