Arrival & Departure

Arrival: Check-in time is 2:00pm. We encourage you to arrive by 4:00pm for the Asana class. Dinner is at 6:00pm and there will be a Welcoming Orientation at 7:00pm followed by Satsang at 7:30pm.

Departure: Check-out time is 12:00pm. You are welcome to stay in the ashram for the rest of the afternoon even after checking out of your room.


What to Bring:

slip on shoes, loose comfortable clothing, writing materials, meditation shawl or blanket, yoga mat, sitting cushion, water bottle, and flashlight. All books and materials are available in our boutique.

Understand well the phenomenon of stress. Build resilience amidst the urgent demands and distractions of our modern world. Alleviate the impact of stress and anxiety by understanding your personal “stress profile”—your triggers, conditioned reactions, weaknesses, etc. Awareness is your key to transformation.

The cause of the majority of diseases can be traced to stress. Stress builds up through our repeated reactive tendencies when faced with a perceived threat. Learn the art of slowing down. Discover your inner strength and become versed in the art of replacing your habitual self-defensive stress reaction with positive self-affirmation. Face life challenges with fortitude and self-confidence.

Find your own strength—independent of the collective negative voices that abound. Become the master of your life, rather than being victim to your past. Learn the power of thought and affirmation and conquer your fear and anxieties.

Daily Schedule

  • 6:00–7:30am – Satsang (meditation, chanting, lecture)
  • 8:00–10:00am – Yoga class
  • 10:00am – Vegetarian brunch
  • 11:00am – Karma Yoga
  • 1:00–2:30pm – Workshop on Stress Relief and Relaxation: From Stress to Strength
  • 4:00–5:30pm – Yoga class
  • 6:00pm – Vegetarian dinner
  • 7:30–9:00pm – Satsang (meditation, chanting, lecture)

Pre-requisite

There are no prerequisites other than a sincere desire to learn classical yoga.
