Yoga Sadhana for Self-Healing Retreat

Self-healing is the process of revealing and removing wrong thinking about yourself. The nature of the Self is Satchidananda—absolute truth, consciousness and bliss. Vedanta philosophy points out our mistaken thinking, illusions of separation superimposed upon the Truth. In fact, Self-knowledge and Self-healing are the same. The process involves the calming of the mind to be able to feel the Self. The mind, in its turbulent state, cannot reflect the true Self. Our many desires, imaginations and emotions lead to fears and anxieties. The Self-healing process points out to you the real source of peace, health and happiness. When knowledge of Truth dawns, through contemplation and self-inquiry, you see the error of your perceptions; you gain strength and power. The intelligence is awakened. Self-healing is the process of inviting the Light of Self-knowledge in. The moment you wake up from your illusions, you find strength, contentment and immediate relief from stress and worry.

The Self-healing process will lead to the healing of others as well. Be aware of your victimization attitude when illness or lack of wellbeing occurs in your life. Learn to self-affirm to remember your innate strength and make the right decisions to alleviate your sufferings and avoid aggravating them.

Afternoon workshop topics include:
Who is the Self? Who Am I?
Causes of Disease
