Ayurveda for a Good Life Retreat
The goal of Ayurveda, the Science of life, is healthy living and a sustained sense of wellbeing. The knowledge of Ayurveda, along with Yoga, helps us to achieve our goals—whether material or spiritual—in all phases of life. This course is for everyone, wherever you are on your journey to health and balance—and the process of imbalances that leads to disease. Learn to implement simple, practical daily routines—guidelines in diet and basic psychology—to stay healthy. Learn to assess your own physical and mental constitution, how to digest well, how to sleep well and how to understand others for harmonious relationships. Know how to boost your immunity and get back to balance with Ayurveda and Yoga.
Afternoon workshop topics include:
- Understand Your Personal Constitution: The Three Doshas
- Daily and Seasonal Routines and Healthy Lifestyle
- Balancing Vata Mind and Body
- Balancing Pitta Mind and Body
- Balancing Kapha Mind and Body
- The Basics of Immunity and Detoxification
- The Six Tastes of the Ayurvedic Diet
Recommended Daily Schedule
- 6:00–7:30am – Satsang (meditation, chanting, lecture)
- 8:00–9:45am – Asana class
- 10:00am – Vegetarian brunch
- 11:00am – Karma Yoga
- 12:00pm – Nature Walks
- 1:00–2:30pm – Workshop on Ayurveda for a Good Life Retreat
- 2:30 – 4pm – Free Time
- 4:00–5:45pm – Asana class
- 6:00pm – Vegetarian dinner
- 7:30–9:00pm – Satsang (meditation, chanting, lecture)
Pre-requisite
There are no prerequisites other than a sincere desire to learn classical yoga.

Nitya (Hoa Tran)
Nitya HoaTran is a Sivananda yoga teacher, Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Ayurveda Body Treatment therapist.
