Arrival & Departure

Arrival: Check-in time is 2:00pm. We encourage you to arrive by 4:00pm for the Asana class. Dinner is at 6:00pm and there will be a Welcoming Orientation at 7:00pm followed by Satsang at 8:00pm.

Departure: Check-out time is 12:00pm. You are welcome to stay in the ashram for the rest of the afternoon even after checking out of your room.

What to Bring:

Description

 

Curriculum

Day 1 – Good Life and relationships. Practices from the Classic 4 paths of Yoga and self development for improving your quality of life & relationships.

Day 2 – Ayurveda for mental health. Daily self-care practices, enteric nervous system health, and Ayurvedic Dosha understanding.

Day 3 – Qigong for balancing Wisdom, Emotions, and Vitality. Understanding how imbalance of the three treasures affects your life & relationships.

Day 4 – Stress management and behavioral science. Understanding habits, values, needs, developing communication and connection.

Day 5 – Positive thinking, how every day can be a good day. Questions and Closing.

6-7:30am Satsang: Silent meditation, chanting and lecture
8-10am Yoga Class
10am Brunch
11am Karma Yoga
1-2:30pm Workshop
2:30-4pm Free Time and Nature walks
4-6pm Open Yoga Class
6pm Dinner
7:30-9pm Satsang: meditation, chanting and lecture

Pre-requisite

There are no prerequisites other than a sincere desire to learn.

Nitya (Hoa Tran)

Nitya HoaTran is a Sivananda yoga teacher, Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Ayurveda Body Treatment therapist.  She also serves as the Director of Ayurvedic Therapy Training Course and the Ayurveda Panchakarma Program at the Sivananda Ashram in Vietnam. Omkara is an experienced Sivananda yoga teacher since 2012 and a therapist and healer with diverse skills. He is a Sivananda Yoga Health Educator 800 hours accredited by International Association Yoga Therapists IAYT in training.
